My skin had been so dry. It was peeling! I was hoping that my foundation, since it is a moisturizing foundation from MAC, would alleviate some of the dryness since the Aveeno I applied the night before didn't. I was preparing for my daughter's birthday party and just wanted my skin tone to appear even! I applied the foundation and ran out the door. I quickly learned it was a bad decision when I noticed my skin peeling and the foundation was only exacerbating the issue!
Between and betwixt picking up cupcakes, paper plates and balloons, I scheduled an appointment to meet with an esthetician at Ulta. Thankfully, LeeAnn was able to see me at 3. Listen, the cake face I had was h o r r i d and most certainly isn't the cake face I have in mind when I promote use of my line! Lol...
The facial was everything my face needed. She gently removed all of my makeup. She massaged it out, she then exfoliated my skin gently-not sure why I expected her to need a scouring pad lol…anyway, by the end I had been put to sleep by the relaxing face massage and I was glowing. My skin was tout like a kid and I had a glow.
I'm always so busy. I tend to forget to go the extra mile and take care of me. The usual face washing and moisturizing is okay but every now and then, treat yourself and your skin to a facial. You'll love the results!
