Careers - Marketing Manager

Beauty Bakerie is hiring for a Marketing Manager.  This person is highly integrated into all marketing activities and goals.  This marketing manager needs to have an outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous nature. In concert with these traits, they need to be highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines.  The right candidate will have to demonstrate their ability through past job experience and performance.  The Marketing Manager will work very closely with the CMO and execute on his behalf.

We are a fast-growing company looking to expand our already huge digital presence. This candidate must have expertise in branding as well as bring products to market.  They will also need to bring with them a strategy, with the guidance of the CMO and CEO, on how to best position Beauty Bakerie’s USP and core values to prospects/leads and current customers.  B2C experience in a CPG field focusing on beauty, cosmetics and makeup, lifestyle, or a related industry is an absolute must.


TITLE:
   Marketing Manager                         

REPORTS TO:  Chief Marketing Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • A strong background in branding and content.
  • Create and execute sustainable, consumer-centric plans activating all aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Manage direct reports including a creative team, marketing/event coordinator, campaign manager as well as their engagements with our digital agencies and freelance professional services.
  • Successfully launch new products by optimizing our current strategy for execution.
  • Conduct routine business analysis including weekly and monthly business reviews and recommendations, as well as ad-hoc analyses of opportunities, best practices, customers and strategy
  • Build in-depth consumer, competitive and retailer knowledge and expertise
  • Forecast and monitor sell-in and sell-through to meet and react to business needs.
  • Manage the assigned marketing budget.

Requirements:

This candidate must have the following –

  • A proven track record of success in CPG cosmetics, beauty, or lifestyle brands
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge and experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, web design and development.
  • A working knowledge of HTML, web development and design for the purpose of managing projects.
  • Retail marketing and merchandising a plus.
  • Live/love cosmetics, fashions, and beauty
  • 3-5+ years in branding and content strategy
  • Strong marketing channel knowledge and strategy on how to approach them.
