Beauty Bakerie x @Cosmobyhaley Collab!

This year is full of sweet surprises here at the Bakerie. Everyone's favorite smudge-free Lip Whips and BROWnies came out in new unique shades. We also launched new products like our EyesCream cream shadows, Sugar Lip Scrub, Lip Whip Remover, GELato gel eyeliners, Sprinkles eye glitter, and (the cherry on top) our Neapolitan EyesCream palette.

While this year presented a lot of firsts for our brand, it's been an incredible experience having our Sweeties around the globe on this journey with us.

This month we're introducing another special product that we've been dying to share! Our very first product collaboration with Internet sensation Haley Wight, better known as @cosmobyhaley.

She created a custom-colored Lip Whip called Salted Caramel Mocha.
We know, it's the perfect shade for the season! 

 

Because we adore Haley just as much as we love to have our cake and wear it too, we thought you’d like to get to know her!

Q: When did you start wearing makeup?

A: I started wearing makeup when I was a freshman in high school. I was actually a really late bloomer when it came to makeup compared to all the girls in my high school.

 

Q: What is your favorite go-to makeup look?

A: My favorite go-to makeup look is a winged liner, no lashes, highlight, and a neutral liquid lipstick. That's actually what I wear whenever I go out every single time!

 

Q: What is your favorite sweet indulgence?

A: My favorite thing to eat when I have a sweet tooth is either sour patch kids, or anything with chocolate on it (kit kats are my fav)

 

Q: Who do you look up to in the beauty world?

A: have always been a huge huge fan of NikkieTutorials, she was the very first YouTuber that I watched back in the day. Currently, my favorite beauty blogger/vlogger is Danielle Mansutti because she always stays very honest and open with her audience, and she reminds me of myself a great deal.

 

Q: If you were stranded on an island, what is the one product that you’d have to have?

A: If I were stranded on an island, I would without a doubt need some sort of chapstick. I CANNOT deal with chapped lips!

 

Q: What’s something that your followers don’t know that you wish they knew?

A: Something I wish my followers knew is that EVERYONE is human, and there is no such thing as perfect. Flaws are what makes everyone unique and beautiful, and even though most YouTubers and Instagramers seem like they are perfect, they're actually just like you. 

 

Q: What are your top 3 Beauty Bakerie products?

A: My top 3 Beauty Bakerie products are definitely the Lip Whips (duh), the EyesCreams, and the Lip Whip Remover wipes.

 

Q: What was your inspiration behind the name and color of your custom Lip Whip?

A: The inspiration for the color of my Lip Whip was just a color that anyone can wear. I wanted it to be very universal, and something that everyone would feel confident in. I chose to go fairly neutral, with a little warmth for the fall and winter season! And I chose to name it Salted Caramel Mocha because it's my favorite drink during the cold weather, and the color just matched it so perfectly!

 

Q: This is your first collab. Now that you are able to talk about it and it is launching soon, how do you feel?

A: I FEEL AMAZING being able to talk about this collab! It's something so new to me but I'm so happy with everyone's reactions and excitement. We've been working on this for a while now and it feels very good to be so close to the launch date!

 

Q: If you could give Salted Caramel Mocha Lip Whip to one celebrity, who would it be and why?

A: I would definitely give it to Kylie Jenner because she's the liquid lipstick queen haha!

 

Q: What piece of advice would you suggest to anyone wanting to start out or is just beginning in the makeup world?

A: My advice to those starting out in the makeup/beauty blogger industry is to just stay true to yourself. Don't change yourself to fit in, be you and speak your mind (in an appropriate way). And always remember the original purpose you started, because you just love makeup!
